Organize Your Coupons

Posted by Jen |

Ok, so you have just started CVS'ing or saving for that matter and you need to organize your coupons. Each person is different and will find out what works best for them but I thought I would show you what works for me and you are welcome to see if it works for you.

Here is the folder I use to store all my coupons in. You want to make sure that it closes, either with a zipper or a band that wraps around it because you definitely don't want to lose anything from the folder.

I then bought baseball card inserts from Walmart or Target to fill it up with and use for each coupon.

I have yet to do this but each general category should be labeled so you can find them easier.

You can use such categories as:

Health
Beauty
Cleaning
Paper goods
Baby
Laundry
Soaps
Deodrant
Mouth/Toothpaste
Haircare
etc.

I also have a zip up pouch to put any extra things in like scissors or coupons I find while I am in the store.

Behind that zip up pouch I have my food sections which too should be labeled by category.

I would get a folder with pockets so that you could hold extra things like a calculator and even your CVS card.

Lastly, be sure to guard this folder with your life. There have been recent stories out there that people are actually having their coupon folders stolen right out of their carts when they aren't looking. Be on the lookout!

Happy shopping mamas!
